DON Magazine, is a student-run magazine associated with Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
I decided to take on a creative directing role for This project.
The concept; Zodiac signs
My peer, Kat Kloczkowski decided to join me.
The Project would be a 2 page spread
One page shows the zodiac elements, and the other individual shots of each sign
Kat did the Fire signs, we orIginally had a third group member who later decided they only wanted to model for the shoot.
However, they did theIR own makeup, leaving me and Kat to split up the remaining two signs
I was in charge of creating the Earth and water signs makeup concept
Kat had the great idea to make the shoot slumber party themed. This inspIred us to create more of an old school- Cosmopolitan/ scrapbook theme for the actual spread itself.
The Photographer we used is named Julia Leite.
I proceeded to organize all the models, THE Photographer, Lighting and props, as well as THE time and day. I helped coordinate outfit colors, while Kat helped out with actual clothing and location.
